thinkpad T 61 15"

Ya, thats what the philosophy of life says
"Stay hungry, Stay Foolish"

I dont know what i m going to write in this entry, u know i have to think 10 times before writing anything on this blog, because i m very secretive about all my affairs, so how can you people expect me to write whatever that comes to mind in this blog. but then also once in a blue moon i feel the need to share something with this world, thats the time i turn on to this blog, to share myself with the world!

chalo lets start writing with my New IBM (lenovo ) Thinkpad T 61, ya friends i got a new thinkapd T61 imported recently from USA, ya i know its all the way too costly here about 81,000 Rs.

The laptop worked fine for the first few days, then suddenly one day the touchpad stopped working, thank God, My thinkpad came with an international warranty, so i just called up the IBM helpline, they gave me an complaint number, and i was told to submit my laptop in CP.

wich i did the next day, after a day passed i was informed that my laptops touchpad will be replaced and i can take my laptop back next day!!! Yes friends thats the benefit of taking an highend business laptop, i was given my laptop back witihin two days!!, hats off to ibm.

But i do have something to add here, why the hell did my thinkpad broke in its first 15 days of operation, you know thinkpads are known for their reliability and sturdiness, then also today i m writing this entry into the blog with my new thinkpad only, so its the tribute to my Thinkpad.

The keyboard of the thinkpad series of laptop is a bliss to type on, as it is good to type on TVS gold keyboards on desktops, another reason for going on to thinkpad :)

Many people including some of my friends deemed going for a thinkpad as a foolish decision, know its costly and moreover ut dont have a DVD writer, and only a 80 GB hdd, but then also i love my thinkpad, although i m pretty annoyed with its windows vista.

It gives a good battery backup around 3.5 hrs on a single charge!!, It has an integrated finger print reader, Bluetooth EDR wireless, it intel core 2 duo 7300, and it also comes with a integrated keyboard light, with wich you can easily type in an dark room on in during an Night flight!!

Then also i think that thinkpad is a Good buy for the people who need to have performance and stability, thats why i preferred this over a VAIO.

By the way, to keep some of the folks out there updated and who thought that VAIO is the coolest laptop on the planet, i would like to attract the attention to the fact that Vaio is cheaper than Thinkapad, and after my DVD writer, and player which happened to be on SONY broke, i dont trust Sony anymore, sony sucks....

The thing thats left for me to try is an APPLE MAC book, will get hands on this pretty soon....of all goes well.

Now today i m going to try install some Good linux distro on my thinkpad, like SUSE or Ubuntu.

ohkys guys enough bragging about my new thinkpad, just to add something more

here the configuration of my Thinkpad :)
